The New 2019 Hyundai Elantra has undergone a comprehensive cosmetic makeover. The executive sedan now gets sharper styling along with added features to stay relevant for another couple of years. The New 2019 Elantra design projects a sportier, futuristic and even more progressive image than before. Here are the top 5 things you need to know about the new 2019 Hyundai Elantra.
1. Aggressive aesthetics:
The front of The New 2019 Hyundai Elantra with ‘Hexagonal Grille’ reflects strong expression of a premium sedan. The large grille is overshadowed by a sharp set of headlights which get angular LED lighting. The bumper continues the aggressive stance with triangular fog lamps on either side. There are creases on the bonnet which add to the overall drama up front.
At the rear, the i30 inspiration can be seen in the tail lights which are now more upmarket than before. The comprehensive design expresses personality through its refined proportions and the modern Hyundai look with its striking presence offer the customers a comprehensive design value including functionality and aesthetics.
2. New interiors
The interior of the New 2019 Hyundai Elantra features a new dashboard design with a revised instrument cluster and updated steering wheel. The Hyundai Elantra now comes with a new eight-inch infotainment system with smartphone integration and wireless charging on the top-spec variant. We expect the premium executive sedan to follow a dual-tone dashboard theme along with the passenger side electrically adjustable seat with memory function.
3. New BS-VI Compliant Engine
The New 2019 Hyundai Elantra gets three petrol motors under the hood – a 2.0-litre four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine which churns out 150bhp, a turbocharged 1.4-litre petrol which churns out 128bhp, while a 1.6-litre GDI is good for 205bhp. Transmission options are either a six-speed manual, six-speed automatic or a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox depending on the trim. We also get a 1.6-litre diesel motor which puts out 125bhp. Hyundai will only offer BS-VI (Bharat Stage) compliant engines for 2019 Hyundai Elantra in India.
4. India’s First Fully Connected Sedan
The New 2019 Hyundai Elantra will be India’s First Smart Connected Premium Executive Sedan equipped with the Hyundai Global Blue Link Technology with the most practical, concrete and convenient features for India. The Hyundai Blue Link in New 2019 ELANTRA has 34 features out of which 10 features are exclusively India specific, demonstrating Hyundai’s deep commitment and understanding of the Indian market and customer needs.
