- Tata Gravitas will be built on OMEGA architecture
- Will be launched in February 2020
- Harrier and Gravitas will share the same interior design
- Expected to be priced at Rs.20 lakh
Tata Motors is all set to strengthen its SUV portfolio further by launching their upcoming flagship 7-seater SUV- Tata GRAVITAS. The Tata Gravitas will be the second vehicle built on the OMEGA (Optional Modular Efficient Global Advanced) Architecture, which is derived from the Land Rover’s legendary D8 platform. Tata Motors claims that the GRAVITAS will set international level benchmarks in terms of performance, drivability and luxury.

Tata Harrier is powered by the cutting-edge Kryotec 2.0 Diesel engine and Advanced Terrain Response Modes, The Kryotec Diesel engine churns out 170 hp and 350 Nm of torque. The Tata Gravitas might recieve Hyundai derived petrol engine. The Gravitas will be powered by Bharat Stage-6 compliant engine.Â

We expect the  Tata Gravitas to be priced at Rs. 20 Lakh onwards. The Gravitas will have a stiff competition with Toyota Innova Crysta, Jeep Compass, Mahindra XUV 500 and the upcoming Kia Carnival.
