Bookings open for new Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza BS6 Petrol

Maruti Suzuki opens pre-launch bookings for the all new Vitara Brezza. The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza was unveiled at the Auto Expo 2020 few days back. The new generation of the country’s bestselling compact SUV, the Vitara Brezza is more powerful than ever before. Maruti Suzuki claims that the new version provides an enhanced driving experience.

The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza was launched back in 2016, the Vitara Brezza was an instant hit in Indian SUV market, emerging as the most awarded compact SUV. Over 500,000 units of Vitara  Brezza was sold in less than 4 years of its launch. Brezza is the only car from Maruti Suzuki to achieve four star rating in Global NCAP crash test.

The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza has undergone a cosmetic makeover at the front and the rear fascia. Brezza now gets a integrated grille similar to the one seen in the all new Maruti Suzuki Ignis. The new Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza gets a coordinated techno-effect interior accents, leather wrapped steering wheel and houses an all new SmartPlay studio with 17.78 cm touchscreen infotainment system that connects to the cloud to deliver an engaging experience. The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is powered by the bigger and powerful 1.5 litre K-series BS6 compliant petrol engine which churns out 77 kW of power at 6000 rpm and 138 Nm of peek torque at 4400 rpm. Maruti Suzuki claims that the 1.5 litre engine will offer superior NVH characteristics, best-in-class fuel efficiency and an improved cooling performance. The Vitara Brezza is available in both manual and automatic transmissions.

The automatic transmission model comes equipped with the Smart Hybrid system with Lithium-ion battery and hill hold assist feature  The Dual battery Smart Hybrid system offers improved fuel efficiency, idle start-stop, torque assist functions and brake energy regeneration.  As reported earlier Maruti Suzuki will not be offering a diesel engine. The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza provides a mileage of 17 kmpl (manual transmission and  18.76 kmpl (automatic transmission).

The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza offers features like automatic rain sensing wipers, cruise control. auto-retracting outside rear view mirror (OVRM), auto-dimming and anti-glare inside rear view mirror (IVRM) and gear shift indicator. In terms of safety, the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza comes with ABS with EBD, dual front airbags, driver and co-driver seat belt reminder, rear parking assist, high speed warning alert, reverse parking sensors as stand across all variants.

The new Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza comes with Urban and Sporty personalization  packages. The packages include new options like  roof extension, side step and body garnishes.
