BYD officially launched its HAN EV in Brazil after going into Colombia, Uruguay, the Bahamas, the Dominican Republic, and Costa Rica. This launch further expands BYD’s passenger vehicle market presence in Latin America and the Caribbean region.
The BYD flagship Han EV that debuted in Brazil can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds and delivers a pure electric range of 550 km under NEDC conditions. The Han EV will bring a refreshing, superior driving experience of full-electric vehicles to Brazilian customers.
On the day of the ceremony, BYD Brazil invited the country managers of BYD branches in Latin America, and numerous well-known Brazilian auto media to join the big moment of Han EV launching in Rio de Janeiro.
As Han EV goes to the Brazilian market, BYD will further expand its presence in the local passenger vehicle market. BYD Brazil is now working with several well-known auto dealers locally, including Eurobike, Saga, Servopa, IESA, Águia Branca, GNC, Parvi, and Dahruj. By the end of this year, BYD Brazil intends to cover 45 main Brazilian cities in the full-electric passenger vehicle business together with its Brazilian partners. Eventually, it plans to cooperate with 100 designated dealers by the end of 2023.
